PASEO ALLIANCE MEETING March 12, 2008
The Paseo Alliance met at the Trailside Center, 99th & Holmes on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 with 10 in attendance.
Leon called the meeting to order at 1:20 and introduced a guest, 1930 graduate Richard Schauble, his daughter and his grandson.
Carol has reserved a shelter house at Loose Park for Sunday, October 5 for a pot luck picnic. Class representatives need to contact their classes.
Roy suggested they also be reminded that the $50 class dues will be due, and it was decided to make June 1 the deadline. He will post the list on the website of the classes who have paid.
Leon attended the last Paseo Alumni meeting, and said they have a pancake breakfast coming up as a fund raiser for their scholarship fund.
Old yearbooks were discussed. Roy suggested we might scan the Sr. class photos from each book, plus whatever was important from that year. Leon will do the scanning, and Roy will put it on the website. It was discussed that they could also be put on a CD, which Paseo Alumni might want to sell for their scholarship fund.
Our guest, Richard Schauble, talked some about life at Paseo in its first years, and we asked him questions. A group photo was taken, and the meeting was adjourned at 2:30 with the announcement that the next meeting would be Wednesday, April 2.
